Saturday, September 15, 2018, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
We know there's a problem. We know people are hurting, dying, and grieving. We know that together we can help and make a difference. Join us on Saturday, September 15 to help equip caring communities to respond to the opioid crisis.
We begin with a free simple supper open to everyone at 5:00 p.m. followed by a showing of the Academy Award-nominated short documentary "Heroin(e)." We also have a wonderful group of presenters and facilitators to help us take steps to address disenfranchised grief, how to walk with those living with addictive disorders, how communities of faith and interested individuals can respond, why Narcan is necessary to address this crisis, a medical perspective on addictive disorders, and more. There will also be a resource fair.
All are welcome to join us and help make our community stronger.
