Trinity's Organ Committee is delighted to welcome Rhonda Sider Edgington to her Central Pennsylvania home for a concert to celebrate the new console of our 1947 Wicks pipe organ. Rhonda is the daughter of our own Dr. Ronald R. and Beth Sider She studied in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar and has established a reputation both nationally and internationally as a recitalist and as a featured artist for conventions of the American Guild of Organists and the Organ Historical Society.
This concert will have an added dimension as Rhonda is joined by illustrator and calligrapher, Timothy Botts who grew up as part of the Trinity family. We are grateful to "friends of Tim Botts" whose contributions enabled his coming here. Mr. Botts will create sketches as Rhonda is playing three of the evening's selections. A reception honoring Rhonda and Tim will follow the concert in Fellowship Hall with these sketches being offered as part of a silent auction to benefit ongoing organ restoration, along with the evening’s offering.
This concert is a gift of the Siders, with particular gratitude to all who supported the project. The plaque for the Adopt-a-Stop project will be presented along with names of those who contributed in the evening’s program.
